Bellerophon's Victory

Bellerophon used aerial advantage and targeted strikes to end the threat. The encounter is recorded in Iliad Book 6 and Theogony. He rode the winged horse Pegasus, allowing him to avoid the creature's multiple attack angles and strike from above where the hybrid could not effectively counter.

The Weakness

The multi-headed design proved catastrophic. No unified nervous system meant conflicting motor commands, slowed reactions, and inability to coordinate defense. The creature's strength—distributed control—became its fundamental vulnerability.

The Chimera is the only creature in this codex whose primary cause of extinction was its own design. It was not hunted to elimination. It was not outcompeted. It was not bound by divine judgment.
