Overview
Physical Form
Stone-gray skin cracked like dried riverbed. Eyes like obsidian, twin voids that reflect nothing. His hands are permanently stained with dark earth; when he walks the ground trembles in a whisper — not earthquake, but recognition. Wings are sheets of compressed basalt that grind like millstones. No light bends near him.
What He Taught
Araqiel transmitted the science of reading earth: locating underground water, predicting earthquakes, interpreting fault-line tremors as signs, and the art of geomancy — divination through patterns of soil, stone, and sand. He gave early humans the terrifying gift of believing the ground itself had a voice.
Abilities
Stone-phase movement through bedrock; seismic disruption on command; perception of subterranean structures. His imprisonment causes the earth above him to slightly compress — the region of Dudael Desert above his prison is unnaturally dense.
